The Howling -- Wolfpack Weekly Update (Oct 13, 2026)

Had some greally great running race performances over the past couple weeks!

Kevin "The Big Black Bear" Bevillard raced his 2nd ever half-marathon last weekend at Kevin the "Spooky Sprint Half-Marathon" in Littleton, Colorado at the Chatfield Rez. He placed 3rd OVERALL!!!! And, yes, a PR!

In New Jersey, at the Branch Brook 15K in Newark (I know it is Newark, but the park they do this in is beautiful. Great race locations. Tara "Yes I Can" Corduan raced again and took 1st F50-54 in a pretty big field. Notably, 2nd and 3rd in her AG were right on her heals, within 30s, so glad to see she held it together and held them off! Additionally, RJ "The BoogeyMan" Boergers placed 10th in M50-54. What was impressive of this run is that RJ was running 18 miles that day as a run-up to NYC Marathon. So, after the 15K, he quickly turned around and ran the entire course again at, notably, an 8:00 pace. It is really hard to pack on miles after an open running race, and to do that for 9 more miles! Good for you RJ!

Welcome Jon Bender from Denver who will be joining the Wolfpack this Fall as he ramps up for his first-ever triathlon season with his focus being on IronMan 70.3 Oregon. Very excited to have him join and please welcome him!

GET READY TO HOWL AS THIS IS A BIG WEEKEND!

Kabir "Kaboom" Ghale will be heading to Sacramento, CA to race at IronMan California.

Matt "Jiffy" Lubiak is looking to go sub-3:07 (Note: I'm pushing for 3, but...)at the Atlantic City Marathon in New Jersey.
